Rosie Lastra: From Grief to Global Healing

“I am a Transformational Healing & Confidence Coach who bridges faith and science to help women (35–60) and emerging leaders (25–35) reclaim their health, confidence, and spiritual resilience. Through my unique Faith + Science Integration Coaching, I empower clients to align mind, body, and spirit so they can move beyond grief, illness, or fear, and step boldly into a life of purpose.”  I'm also a mother, healer, and visionary who transformed unimaginable grief into a global mission of healing and hope.

When I lost her 37-year-old son, Jeremy, to a rare and aggressive form of liver cancer, her world shattered. I found herself in the deepest valley, physically, emotionally, and spiritually depleted. But in that darkness, something sacred stirred.

Through faith, intentional healing, and spiritual guidance, I rose, not just to survive, but to serve. In Jeremy’s final months, I combined hospital care with holistic practices including Reiki and blue light therapy. Against all odds, and to the amazement of his doctors, Jeremy’s life was extended by four more precious months. This experience became a turning point. I had not only witnessed a miracle, but I had also helped co-create it.

Out of that sacred journey, I founded Jeremy’s Unity Flight, a digital sanctuary and healing movement that bridges Western medicine and Eastern wellness, science and soul. It’s a space where people navigating illness, loss, and emotional trauma can reclaim their strength, rewrite their story, and rediscover joy in the middle of the pain.

My qualifications are rooted in both life experience and deep study. I am a Certified Reiki Healer and trauma-informed coach with training that began in 2014 under respected personal growth leaders, including Derron Walker, Yvette & Dave Ulloa, Johnny Wimbrey, Mark Accetta, Matt Morris, and Sara Thompson. Sara Thompson who is an Executive & Leadership Coach, facilitator, and consultant who has coached leaders at organizations such as Google and the University of Illinois. She holds a bachelor’s in business administration, a master’s in human resource development, and a Doctorate in Higher Education Leadership, and has taught at Claremont McKenna College’s Kravis Leadership Institute.

I have also studied natural healing through the lineage of Dr. Sebi, gaining powerful insights into the body’s ability to repair itself with the right support, nutritionally, energetically, and spiritually.

Through my nonprofit, The Jeremy Lastra Foundation, soon to come, I will also be supporting families experiencing financial hardship due to illness or disability. Every offering, whether it's coaching, a concert, or a guided healing resource, is infused with purpose and grounded in the legacy of my son.

I am living proof that pain doesn’t get the final word; purpose does. My work is a tribute to Jeremy’s life and a gift to anyone seeking real, holistic healing in a world that often forgets the soul.
