Blog 3: Dedication: In Honor of Jeremy Steven

When he came into this world, his name was chosen with divine intention.
Jeremy, meaning “Appointed by God,”
and Steven, meaning “Crowned with Honor.”

Together, his name carried a promise: that his life would be a bridge between Heaven and Earth,
a messenger of love, a bearer of light, and a protector of all that is sacred.

Though I once dreamed of giving him a third name, Michael, Heaven had already placed that spirit within him.
Jeremy didn’t need three names, his two were complete.
He embodied the strength of the warrior, the wisdom of the messenger, and the grace of the crown all in one soul.

What amazes me most is that when I named him,
I didn’t look up meanings or search for symbolism,
I simply picked the names I loved.
Now, years later, I see that I was being guided the whole time.
God had already written the message into his name.
I was just the messenger chosen to speak it.
It reminds me how amazing our God is,
how He lays signs all around us,
and in His perfect timing, opens our eyes to recognize them.

This weekend, At Worriers and Queens, I joined in what Dave and Yvette call Hop, the Ho’oponopono prayer.

a sacred Hawaiian practice of forgiveness, healing, and love.
And today, I want to speak those words directly to you my son:

I’m sorry.
Please forgive me.
I Thank you.
I love you.
(repeated in the rhythm of breath and gratitude)

These words echo through every breath of this mission,
through every song, every journal, every heart that takes flight with us.

Today, his legacy lives on through Jeremy’s Unity Flight.
a movement that uplifts, heals, and reminds the world that love never dies.
Jeremy’s name continues to soar, guiding every heart it touches toward faith, unity, and light.

“Appointed by God. Crowned in Honor. Forever in Flight.”
